MIRACLE HARVEST (sowing-part 1)

MIRACLE HARVEST (sowing-part 1)

We receive a vision for our church that this year is the year of miracle harvest which means we believe that God is on the move to harvest an incredible amount of souls to His kingdom. Of course, God through His people has been harvesting souls from the beginning but we believe this year, more than ever, souls are ready to be harvested and we need laborers who are willing to take up the call.

It doesn’t mean that souls will come by themselves to believe in Jesus. How would someone who never hear the name of Jesus can believe in Him? There are occurrences where Jesus appeared to few individuals but most of the time, He wants us to go out there and harvest these souls.

One of the keys to harvesting these souls are by sowing. It is like a seed (any seed), if we keep it, it remains one seed and there is no benefit from it; in the hand of a farmer however, a seed will be planted and a farmer believes that that seed will multiply. How many? No one will know and no one can count them. Everything that is being sowed will multiply. That is the law that God has set on this earth and His promise.

As believers, we need to sow in prayer daily asking God to add souls to our church. This is the first key. Without prayer, we would move with our own strength instead of having God move with His divine power and the result will be vastly different. We might be able to reap a few souls ourselves but the chances they are staying to believe or having personal encounter with God is minimal. If we pray and walk in faith, believe that the amount of souls we will reap will be extraordinary and they will have a divine encounter because the power of God moves through prayer.

In the book of acts chapter 2, the disciples of Jesus continually gathered in their fellowship, praying together in unity and God added to the church daily those who were being saved (Acts 2:47). It is God, through His divine power added souls to the church; our job? Sowing in PRAYERS. There is a sacrifice but if we have the heart of God, we are willing to pray for those souls. Sow in tears and we will reap with joy.

Miracles and multiplications happen through prayer. It is simple, we cannot be called Christians if we don’t pray. Christian means having relationship with Christ through daily prayer.

Psalm 126:5-6 (NKJV)
5 Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.
6 He who continually goes forth weeping,
Bearing seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
Bringing his sheaves with him.

Daily prayer
Lord, I pray that You send believers who want to pray for the lost souls and I pray for those lost souls that they have personal encounter with You, that they hear the name of Jesus through missionaries, preaching and Your divine work and that their souls are being freed from the devil snare and believe in You. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

STEADFAST AS A VESSEL

STEADFAST AS A VESSEL

Jesus came to this earth to serve and save us. We as believer and disciple of Christ, once we are reborn, are called to serve and to save others just like Jesus did. He died for all, not for some, not for Jewish only or only for those who think they are not sinners. He died for us because we are sinners and we did not realize that we were on our way to eternal death and could not save ourselves. It is our purpose to take the heart of God and make it ours to save others from their perished way.

Many believers give up easily in doing good, spreading the Gospel, trying to save others because they found out that non-believers are hard to change and even refuse the existence of Jesus. They refuse the one truly good thing that can save them and we lose heart in trying to save them. We should realize that we can’t change people, only God can and even then, God still give freedom to people to make their choices.
Maybe we asked why there are certain people that we have gone above and beyond but still do not change. Some even blame God for it. We have to realize, we are stubborn and it’s our choices that reject God. God is a loving, gentle and merciful God. He doesn’t force anyone to accept Him but for those who do accept Him, then anointing, love and miracles are available for them.

We have to keep serving with all of our heart. Jesus was rejected by millions of people even though He came to save them but He would never stop trying to reach them so that they all can be saved. We should never be discouraged if we haven’t seen the fruit of our ministry yet, that should push us to seek Him even more and ask for His guidance so that we know the right time and moment to save those who has been rejecting Jesus and we move on to others who need salvation.

Stay diligence and full of hope in our ministry because we hold on to God’s promises that the sharing of the Gospel and our ministry in the name of Jesus will never come back void. His words are living words and powerful and it will accomplish what it set out to do. We might not see it right away but never stop praying and everything will be made beautiful in God’s time.

2 Timothy 2:24-26 (NKJV)
24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

Daily prayer
Lord Jesus, make Your heart be my heart. Let Your desire to save all be my desire. Give me strength so that I will never lose heart but grow even stronger to save as many as I can during my walk on this earth. Lord, guide me and give me wisdom to know when, whom to save and what to share to those who need salvation. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

GUARD YOUR HEART (part 2)

GUARD YOUR HEART (part 2)

The center of a person’s heart is his/her heart and it is imperative that we guard our heart. We have an eternal enemy, the devil that is always trying to attack us and will try anything to make us fail in the eyes of God. They will attack the center of our lives which is our heart. Especially in this end times, the devil will maximize its effort to corrupt our heart with anger, hatred, jealousy, hurt, bitterness through any situation or people around us to frustrate us and make us disappointed with God, make us questioning the goodness and even existence of God and leave Him. The worst thing is that many believers actually did take the bait and left God for even small matters involving the heart. Therefore, it is very important to protect our heart so that the peace of God in our heart won’t be stolen by the enemy.

We also need to watch over and pay attention to our heart. In every action that we do there is always motivation behind it. Some is pure but some there is a selfish ambition. God that we worship is not a God who looks at our appearances but a God who cares about our heart. We can do a good action in front of our fellow human eyes but to God it might be abomination. We can give money to charity which is good if its stop just right there and no one knows about it. But if we decide to call news channel and bring press conference or telling all of our friends about it; yes, we still did good in front of those people but our motivation turn to bring glory to ourselves instead of God then it is not pleasing in the sight of God then our heart is not pure and the devil can easily entrap us by offering us to be famous. Let’s make sure we check our motivation behind every action.

Our heart can be illustrated like a rose. We love to see rose bloom beautifully. To be able to achieve that, we need to water it, put a good soil and compost, a good amount of sunlight and free from any thorns. It is also with our heart, to maintain a good positive and happy heart, we need to shower it with pray, praise and worship and feed it with the word of God continuously so that every day our heart is becoming purer.

Proverbs 11:20 (NKJV)
20 Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD,
But the blameless in their ways are His delight.

Daily prayer
Lord, You are the God who look at our heart. Fill me with Your words and Your presence so that I am aware of any sins and wickedness that are in me. Help me keep guard of my heart and maintain it so it may be pleasing to You. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

GUARD YOUR HEART (part 1)

GUARD YOUR HEART (part 1)

The bible in Proverbs 4:23 says “keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life”.
Many people think that the center of a person’s life lays on his head or brain, but the bible teaches us that the center of a person’s life is his/her heart because from it comes the issues of life. The life that we live every day is the picture of our own heart. When our heart is bitter then the life that we live by every day will be bitter for example: the way we speak, the way we talk, our attitude and behavior, the way we think and the way we respond to anything will feel bitter.

When our heart is bitter, we feel that other people is always out to get us, that we have nothing to be thankful for. It affects our minds and we are easily offended when people say something regardless good thing or bad. We can’t see clearly to be better and respond negatively to all of our surrounding. People around us will feel that negativity and will always be careful to act or to say around a person with a bitter heart. They will push away people who meant well because they can’t see it.

The Word of God is our filter and our guard. It teaches us to be thankful at every situation and we have a lot to thank for every single day. A person whose heart is focused on God will be able to see His abundant blessing which far outweigh any troubles that come our way. When people don’t care about us, God loves us. When we are tired, God will give us rest; when we can’t forgive ourselves, God has forgiven us; when we can’t go on, God says that His grace is more than enough and when we are alone, God promises that He will never leave us.

If we make God the center of our lives, we can guard our heart to stay soft, positive and be easily restored when it’s hurt or feel anger or disappointed, because God will always comfort us with His words and His presence. It’s like a tree and its fruit. A good mango tree will produce sweet mango fruit and others can enjoy and benefit from it. When our heart is positive and happy, it will bring positive impact to others and strengthen others through our words, attitude and behavior. God’s presence in us will draw others in positive way and more incline to believe in Jesus.

No non-believer will come to Jesus through people who show hatred, anger, judging and negative spoken words.

Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)
23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.

Daily prayer
Jesus, teach me to guard my heart with all diligence. I want to be Your witness and project positivity through my life just like You want me to be so others may see Your goodness and how Your presence in my life has changed me. Give me the discipline to read and meditate on Your words daily. In the name of Jesus I pray. amen

FAITH COMES BY HEARING

FAITH COMES BY HEARING

The Gospel is given not only to be heard and believed but to be obeyed. The bible says that the beginning, progress and strength of faith come by hearing but hearing the Word of God only in Romans 10:17. Everyone has faith but not everyone has faith in God. We believe if we see a chair we can sit on it without the chair crumble under our weight. That is faith because we see it and we can touch it then we believe.

Faith in God is different. It is a belief to the Unseen and Divine Revelation. Therefore, we can’t condemn or ask people to have faith in God if they never heard Him or the Word or the Message. It is the utmost importance that someone deliver the Truth then people can believe after they hear it. It is important for us as believer to seek the Truth and to go to church or believer’s meeting, prayers meeting and her the Truth to strengthen our Faith.

It is peculiar that the second part of that verse says “and hearing by the word of God” – not hearing the Word of God. It shows that Word of God which is Jesus Himself is in command. He directs His Words to those who seek Him. “by” – shows that God is in control. Therefore, if God withheld His words to be shared to some, then it is not the time to share to those group. He knows the right condition and situation. He moves by divine power and we ought to if we are led by His Holy Spirit.

Preachers who are led by Holy Spirit will share the right message at the right time to the right people and those by hearing the right message will have their faith strengthen. It is our job then as believer to be led by the Holy Spirit, to seek God and hear and meditate on His words daily to strengthen our faith and to share the right message to the right people.

Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Daily prayer
Lord Jesus, lead me with Your Spirit that I may seek You diligently with all my heart and I believe my faith is strengthen whenever I hear Your words. Make me to be Your vessel that I may carry Your message so that those who never hear the gospel that faith may arise in them when they hear it. I believe that Your words are powerful and it will accomplish what it set out to do. In the name of Jesus I pray. amen

WORDS FOR THE WEARY

The way we speak is shaped by the way we think and how our character is built in us. People in the world love to curse because that’s the way the culture is and what they hear every single time. People would speak negatively if that’s how their environment is and how they grow up. Some people don’t believe in words that they themselves are saying but saying it just for the sake of comforting themselves.

We as believers are supposed to be different. We believe that Jesus lives in us and we should live led by the Holy Spirit. The words that re coming of our mouth need to be positive and give hope and lift others who are weary.
Isaiah chapter 50 verse 4 says that the Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned (disciple) that I should know how to speak. Disciple is someone who learn to be like the teacher. Others can tell who our Teacher is by the words that are coming of our mouth. There is no way Jesus utter negative, hatred filled words, beating down, faithless, bigotry and hurtful kind of words and those words should never come of our mouth if we truly are His disciples. Verse 4 says that the Lord has given me the tongue /the words to speak to others.

Believers cannot just assume that once they receive Jesus in their life and the way they speak will change. It takes process and effort. There is a price that we must pay. Isaiah 50:4 continues saying that God awaken me morning by morning. He awakens my ear to hear as the learned (disciple).

As disciple of Christ, to be like Him that we need to hear what the Lord are saying CONTINUOUSLY, MORNING BY MORNING it says. Those who diligently seek Him will receive revelations from God. As disciple of Christ; it means we must be willing to be taught and be shaped to be like Him then the words that we speak will be Jesus words that fill our hearts that will lift the weary. Those who call themselves believer but do not spend the time with Christ, don’t be surprised that the words they speak is faithless, have no power and do not comfort others.
Let’s check our spoken words; is it positive, godly words, does it lift others or bring others down? Remember that we are disciple of Christ. Are your ears willing and excited to be awaken every morning?

Isaiah 50:4 (NKJV)
4 “The Lord GOD has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned.

Daily prayer
Lord, I truly want to be Your disciple and when others hear me that they would glorify Your Name. Wake me every morning and I want to learn. Holy Spirit teach me and place the words in my tongue to lift others and to praise God always. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amin

Our words

Our words

There are a lot of verses in the bible that talks about the power of words, our tongue and how we need to control it and watch what we say. Many families have broken up, children and parents carry hurt feeling that would never go away, friendship become decimated because of words, countries go to war from speeches that wasn’t supposed to be said. Couples went their separate ways because they could not say nice things to each other.
It is so easy to say things that we thought are right and without thinking about consequences after it. It is so easy to be condescending, racist, bullying and demeaning to others and said that it was just a joke and harmless. Our words are like a hammer. It can destroy a building or a wall and the only way to recover is to build it new. Patching it would only serve a reminder that the hole is still there. The lasting impact of our words are still there and being carried by those that were hurt by our words.
People have lost hope and even take step further and end their life because they have been told they are hopeless by people whom they trust. People who carry bitterness in their heart will only speak bitter words and hurting others whether they want to or not unless that bitterness is taken out of their heart.
However, we have seen words that are uplifting, words that can mend a broken heart and words that are encouraging and comforting. Those words will only be spoken by those who believe in Jesus Christ and their mind has been renewed by the Word of God.
Jesus presence in our life is bringing life changing character as long as we make ourselves subjects of His workmanship. He is gentle and full of love, and grace and mercy. He gives hope to those who feel hopeless, and His words are uplifting to our souls. When others say that we are not good enough, God says that He created us just perfect according to His purpose for His glory.
Yes, words don’t kill us physically but we have seen people who give up in life and going through life hoping that theirs will end soon from words that kill their soul. Speak life and blessing. Have Jesus in our lives and renew our minds with His words

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Daily prayer:
Jesus, I pray that Your presence will always be with me. Help me to change the way I think and speak only positive and godly words to encourage others and to bring others to come to You. In the name of Jesus I pray. amin

PURCHASING GOD’S GIFTS

In the book of Acts chapter 8, there was a sorcerer whose name was Simon. He repented from His ways and yet still doing things the way he was as if he hasn’t repented. He thought that he could purchase God’s gifts with money as he saw the apostles laid hands on people and they were anointed with Holy Spirit.

Many believers are still like that; they call themselves Christians and yet their ways of life are still the same as before they accepted Christ. They have this assumption that once they receive God then that is enough. They thought they can buy God’s blessing and gifts with money. This is due to the lack of knowledge about God. Many believers do not want to commit to learn more about God. They go to church once a week which as the days pass by they will soon forget about the preaching or maybe only 5% which they remember and as they live their lives daily surrounded by non believers, nothing changes in their lives. They cannot become witnesses for God that way as they have no clue the characters of God and are not led by the Holy Spirit.

They thought that when they are sick, they just call the pastors to pray for them in exchange for money and they will be healed. God doesn’t need our money. He has the whole universe in His hands. He is ready and willing to give us the gifts of the Holy Spirit as long as we have faith and believe in Him. That’s the only key. There is no amount of money in the world can make us receive the gifts of God if we don’t believe in it and if we don’t know how to receive it, how to use it and how to live in it.

The gifts of God is not exchangeable as each is given freely to a person according to the purpose that God created Him to be and if we don’t use it then God will take it away. There are so many things that money cannot buy but unfortunately people are blinded by money because they put their need and greed above everything else. If they put their trust in God and walk according to His ways, they will realize that God can fulfill all of their need even if we have nothing.

Grow in the knowledge of God; do not be a believer by name only but be a true believer that knows who God is and put our trust in Him only.

Acts 8:20

Daily prayer
Lord, I want to know more about You and I believe that You give Your gifts freely according to Your grace. I will put You above anything else on this earth and seek Your ways always and I believe that my life is taken care of in Your hands. In the Name of Jesus I pray

CALL UPON THE LORD

God promises in psalms 91 that when we call on Him, He would answer and that He will be with us in times of trouble and He will deliver us and honor us. What a great and assuring promise and we can be one hundred percent sure that God will always fulfill His promise.

However many believers become unbelievers because they feel that God doesn’t answer them; that He goes back on His words. The truth is God never goes back on His words. He is always with us. The problem lies with us and with our commitment and desire to have relationship with God. Most of us have no relationship with God and we call on Him only when we are in trouble and demanding that God answer us.

God only responds to faith. If we don’t have relationship with Him, rarely pray to Him and barely read the bible, what basis do we have to fully trust Him to answer us? Our faith won’t be strong enough to fully trust God to answer according to His ways. The only thing we have is doubt whether God can get us out of our difficult situation or not.

What makes us trust God if we don’t know Him? Can we trust someone and give our life to a person that we don’t know? Many believers are like that. They call themselves believers but there is no foundation in their faith. God’s ways are higher than our ways. If we don’t have faith and we don’t know how He works, we will always think that He never answer us. His timing is perfect and He would test us sometimes to the point where we think it’s too late to solve our problems.

That’s why we need faith; Faith to endure and fully surrender to Him; faith to be able to say that God is never late and He will surely deliver us; faith to never leave Him no matter what happen; Faith in knowing that He is God and He never goes back on His promises.
Exercise our faith and build relationship with Him!!!

Psalms 91:15

Daily prayer
Lord, I absolutely believe in You and in Your promises. I will learn and grow in the knowledge of You and to have faith fully in You that You reign over all and will be able to deliver me. In the Name of Jesus I pray.

THE POWER OF WORDS

We as believers have to watch our words of what we say to others and in any situation. People take lightly sometimes of the things that they say and try to take it back when others are hurt or when situations are getting worse.

In the beginning God created everything with Word and everything were created. Jesus always spoke for miracles to happen. He commanded it and spoke the Word. In the book of John chapter 1 was explained that the Word that God spoke of to create things was God and with God and then this Word came down to earth and became flesh and was named Jesus.

All things were made through Jesus and in Jesus there was life and this life is the light of men. Believers who accepted Jesus Christ and believe in Him have the Spirit of God inside of them. Jesus lives inside of us. He is the light and the life inside every believer. If our lives are truly led by the Holy Spirit and we use our lives to fulfill God’s purpose then every word that is coming out of our mouth would be Jesus’ words Himself.

That is why when we proclaim healing, people are healed; when we proclaim miracle, miracle happen. It is not because of us but because we have Jesus lives inside of us and He has the power to create through words alone. That is exactly why we have to be careful with our words. If we can proclaim on healing and miracles, we can also curse and cause hurts to others and make bad things happen through words because there is a power in our words.

We think when we have Jesus, we would be all holy and will not say bad things; however the enemies are always lurking and try to find the opportunity for us to slip and fall. We can’t always control ourselves when we are angry and the enemies will certainly try to use every possible way to upset us. This involves self control and changes in characters a we have a deeper relationship with God.

So, use positive words only to glorify God, to build other people and to further the Kingdom of God. Proclaim on victory on the enemies and lost souls. Break the chain of the captives, set them free, heal the sick and cast out demons. Jesus, Whom all things were created through Him, lives inside of us.

John 1:3-4

Daily prayer
Lord Jesus, I believe that You live inside of me. Lead me and every word that I say that it will only be used for positive things to glorify Your name and to build the Kingdom of God on this earth. In the Name of Jesus I pray.
